Shame Course

Shame will be explored across five episodes.

The first episode gives a broad introduction, then there are episodes to help specifically with:

    •    inhibited intimacy and friendship

    •    negative body-image and low self-esteem

    •    moral injury

    •    legacy burdens

The signature posture of shame often includes a lowered or bowed head, collapsed chest, rounded shoulders, and an inward-folding torso. The gaze may turn downward or away. The face may flush or lose expression.

These are protective strategies, often learned early, designed to preserve belonging and reduce threat.

The aim is to welcome shame with appreciation and unconditional love.
